The Firefox Plug-in is a seperate download.

 

Remember to uncheck any boxes for aditional downloads.

I have looked through the information on the new version of flash player.
Am I right to assume that they did not make any changes based on security vulnerabilities?

Just got the update thru Chrome along with it's update, then thru IE.

Yep,  I had a crash too.

 

I wasn't watching any video at the time.  Firefox was open when I went to Control Panel > Flash Player Settings Manager and crash!  :smileyfrustrated:  I was able to watch hours of videos on Youtube without incident.

 

So,  I don't like IE9,  Chrome has it's own list of problems,  which for me is that the safe site icons wont display,  and now the Firefox/Flash player issue you describe.....

I've had more crashes with this update than I did with the previous version. It's just too bad that so much content is Flash-based. If it weren't, I'd just get rid of it and be done.
