Whilst the mail.com website to process emails, I received a pop-up from what looked like a genuine Adobe update for flash player. While I was focused on servicing emails, it looked genuine and I clicked on it to allow the upgrade. Unfortunately, the effects of this action is not only corruption of the OS on the laptop and the desk top, but also the infection of the hard drives and MS Office. The MS PC for the area was called in and he managed to salvage saved data, but recommended that the hard drives of both machines be destroyed, and the systems replaced. I am in the process of doing this whilst MS investigate further. Norton Internet Security failed to detect, and continues to report no problems. However, whilst the laptop has been replaced with a tablet and the desk top has been recovered to a degree whilst the replacement system is being secured, the malware keeps popping up. Norton we would like your take on this. Best regards, Ken
