I purchased the Norton standard security today, after being constantly informed my laptop contains a virus, this 'virus' has led to the popping up of ads on many websites I wanted to visit. I bought this virus protection in hoping it would change. But it hasn't. Does this product seriously do nothing to block ads, disappointing. I still can't visit many websites, as when the website loads up an ad pops up and it crashes the website, I try to recover the web page but the same thing happens again and again. Is they any alternate. My ads need blocking and to stay that way, so I can visit any website I like without any problems.
