I am so tired of seeing Norton spamming my PC with promotional ads that I can't wait for my subscription to run out so I can uninstall this product. Norton you should not treat your customers this way. Additionally I am finding that every time I check my Norton history there are no viruses or meticulous programs found just "clean up" really! Norton has become a useless product that only serves to empty my temporary internet files and serve up ads for their products. Will be cancelling subscription very soon. Good by to an unneeded and over priced ad generator.
Unfortunately, the constant ads and sell-ups are marketing driven, hard coded into every product. They cannot be disabled. There are many posts across the forums with complaints in this regard, all have fallen on deaf ears. The above posts regarding cancelling your subscription are good information, they however miss the point of the original posting. Customer dissatisfaction. Just my dime on things as always. Norton needs to listen to customers and follow through with customer retention, not continue to ignore them.
