I just joined this forum tonight and I was searching to see if it was advisable to upgrade from NIS 2007 to NIS 2010. My subscription to NIS 2007 expired last year, so I have not been getting updates to 2007 for awhile (I know...not good). I've done a clean install of winxp sp3 and reinstalled Norton NIS 2007 but a friend informed I should just get NIS 2010 and download and run the Removal Tool.
Any advice, if I should uninstall NIS and the use the Norton Removal Tool and just purchase a new license for NIS 2010 or can I purchase upgrade to NIS 2010 from Symantec website (for a little less money)?
