Hi everyone....
I am looking for advice concerning Norton Ghost 15.
I have never used disk imaging software and I am now considering purchasing such software.
I am torn between Acronis True Image 2010 ( home) and Norton Ghost 15. From your past experiences which of the two would be dafer and easier to use for a beginner on disk imaging? Is there a visula tutorial on the internet that would show how to use Norton Ghost 15? I have looked at the Norton Ghost 15 manual but to me it seems a bit confusing.
Also, I have been a user of NIS for a while now and currently have NIS2009 installed. I have read from some of the posts that before upgrading to the next NIS it would be best to uninstall the current version of NIS and then run the Symantec removal tool. My question....I I had both NIS and Norton Ghost installed and a new version of NIS came out would I install OVER the current version of NIS? My guess is that if I ran the Symantec removal tool it would also uninstall Norton Ghost.
One more question... once install does Norton Ghost 15 REQUIRE you to renew a subscription every year ( or otherwise it will become disable like NIS)?
Sorry for all of the questions...just trying to make the wisest decision.
