I left my computer for about 15 minutes and when I got back I had a pop up from Norton saying it found 10 files called Adware.webwise.
From looking at the info it looks like it is a tracking cookie of some sort?
I read the info about it and it seems that it is from my ISP, or is it from a website I visted? I'm not sure.
I'm just wondering if it's dangerous or not, and if I should be concerned.
I did a live update and a full scan with NIS 2012 and NPE. both found nothing.
Any help would be greatly apperciated, thanks in advance.
Yes, it is indeed a type of tracking cookie, one you seem to get only with certain ISP:s. In any case, it is not malware, and it can't harm or hurt your system. It's more of an annoyance than a danger. Most security software just ignore it.
