I have raised a few issues since purchasing Norton with new laptop back in January - things just never ran right on my laptop and to be honest has been a stressful time. First time I have ever paid for a 3rd party av tool in 10 years of owning a laptop.
Issues I had below. I wasn't sure if it was down to Norton though - maybe it was windows 8 ? The laptop itself ??
Anyway after 3 months of torture I have removed it and my laptop is like a different machine - runs like lightening which is what I I expected it to when I spent 4 figures on it back in January. Everything launches as I would expect and downloaded exe files and browser sessions actually run first time without having to reboot !
Am I now vulnerable ? I don't know. But I just needed to post this. The best offer I got from Norton was to pay $70 for one of their guys to set it up right for me. Disappointed
