After installing Norton Mobile Android Crashes

Hi.

I have a Sony Xperia ZL for 3 years now. After installing Norton Mobile in my cellphone (running Android 5.1.1) it started to restart by it self and it would show "Android is Starting" "Optimizing app xxx of xxx" and it kept doing that until the battery ran out.

Uninstalling Norton mobile didn't solve the problem. I have to do a factory reset to solve my problem. After that I tried to installing again Norton Mobile and the same thing happened again. The only solution was to do a factory reset.

The most strange thing is that my father has the exact same cellphone model that I have, with the same Android version and after installing Norton Mobile in his cellphone, it worked fine. No problems.

I'm not sure if I wanted to try installing again in my cellphone because if it doesn't work, takes me almost 1 day to get my cellphone working again with my apps and configurations.

Any ideas of what is happening?

Can you please update if the issue still remain,as this was not device specific issue there were updates been rolled out in past few months for idsafe android.Request you to update the app to 3.7.1.777 and check if the issue is solved.Thank you for reporting.
