Since I cannot reply to the topics already dealing with this issue for some reason I will make a new thread.
Okay, heres the scoop. I build my Mother-inlaw a computer a little over a year ago. It is very nive all EVGA main componants, bought all the parts including windows 7 ultimate. So its for sure without a doubt a genuine copy.
Okay so my mother inlaw has a Java update pop-up on her screen and she let it update, but she missed the little checkbox for installing Norton so it was installed along with the java update, then she rebooted like I taught her to do after any update. When she restarted the computer she started getting errors about her copy of windows not being genuine.
I have seen others posting the same issue, so this is not an isolated incidence, I need to know if you guys have made a fix for this yet, since no doubt it was a result of installing Norton. My mother inlaw is very emotional and I need to get this resolved quickly, believe me its better for everyone if we get this fixed ASAP lol.
I realize that there may have been a post somewhere in the ocean of threads on this forum, but I did not see one nor was I able to discerne that any I scanned over dealt with this (that I was able to find a fix from you as the source that is). And the ones that did deal with this the reply button was disabled.
