After uninstalling Norton 360 I'm still left with a couple of services

Issue abstract: Norton uninstall does not remove all the software.

Detailed description: I removed Norton 360 from my PC (I was asked to test another anti-virus program), but the uninstall did not remove all the services. I’m left with:

Norton Antivirus
Norton Firewall service
Norton Tools

I’ve removed my machine (temporarily) from the Norton Devices page. But no matter what I’ve tried (including Safe Mode), I always get the same message, “Access is Denied”.

I tried using the tool called “NRnR.exe”, it comes back with a reboot is needed, and after the reboot, those pesky services are still there.

Everything I’ve tried is under administrator (seperate login)

So how do I get rid of these services?

Product & version number: Not sure, but it was totally up to date, as of today.

OS details: Windows 11 (up to date).

What is the error message you are seeing? “Access is Denied”.

If you have any supporting screenshots, please add them:

@Nigel_Aves Run this tool for the latest version 25.xx of Norton. Please post back your progress.

Edited: Make sure you are LOGGING INTO Windows under an admin account.
