Issue abstract: After Update Norton No-longer ID’s Safe Sites

Detailed description: After the latest update, the browser extension no longer has “access” to any sites, i.e., where there used to be a green check mark next to the url, now it only shows a question mark. Is this a bug, or an OS and/or hardware obsolescence issue?

Product & version number: 26.7.11086 (build 26.7.11086.0)

OS details: Windows 10 Pro Vers 22H2

With what browser(s) are you seeing this? What websites are you having difficulty with?

I just tested Edge and Firefox and the Safe Web extension shows the green check marks for web sites I tested.

Have you restarted your computer, restart not shutdown, since the latest Norton updates?

This is on Edge, and yes several reboots since. Thanks for your comment.

Update - was away from my machine for a few hours, and now the check marks are back. I don’t know what changed as no further actions, but at this point this issue is “resolved”.

@BEM On Opera GX ( Chromium based ) I have version 3.25.0.6 of the extension, version 3.25.0.12 is available. Edge shows version 3.25.0.11 as the latest.
