I recently upgraded my two computers from Win 7 to Win 8 (I installed over Win 7). Ghost on both machines now says that I have 30 day trial subscriptuions and will not accept my product keys (says they are invalid). I now know Ghost 15 is "not compatible" with Win 8 (although Win 8 Upgrade Advisor specifically said it was compatible). Ghost seems to be working, though.
It seems pretty far along in the release of Win 8 for there to be no compatible version of Ghost if Norton has a comittment to the product (I sometimes wonder about this, since Ghost does not show up on Norton's website as one of their products.) You have to really go looking for any information on ghost. Furthermore, there has not been an update to the software for a long, long time.
So, is there a solution to my problem regarding the 30 day trial? And does anyone know what Norton's plans are for Ghost?
