Again, Sonar turns off and won't fix

I had this problem a couple weeks ago and it was believed to be one of two other security programs running alongside NIS2011. Actually, the problem corrected on its on before I uninstalled them. Now I am having the same problem and there are no other security programs running with Norton. If I reboot, SONAR will stay on for awhile and then go off again and won’t fix. OS is Windows XP SP3. Thanks.
