My Norton Internet Security program stopped responding. I contacted tech support and they reinstalled it for me. A week later, it happened again. I THOUGHT I had contacted the same tech supprt number (I found it by Googling) but it all sounded very different when I got to it this time. After listening to my problem, the agent immediately said that my computer was sure to totally crash within a week and that only a certified Windows technician could fix it, but that it cost $169.90 for a year's subscription. I thought I had no choice and so I paid and ended up subscribed to something called AGENT 001 which is an unsatisfacory company with TERRIBLE phone connections and service. Has anyone else experienced this? I suspect it is some sort of a scam.
