AIDA64 RemoteSensor LCD doesn't work

Hello, i have activated the RemoteSensor LCD in Aida64 on port 80. Unfortunately, I can't reach the panel. Neither from another device on the network, nor from the computer itself. When I type 127.0.0.1 on the host, I only see a 404 error. If I enter the IP of the host in a browser on my laptop or Raspberry Pi, nothing happens. I temporarily disabled the Norton Firewall and tried different settings. Nothing worked.when I start AIDA64 on the laptop (no Norton installed), I can see the panel from the PC or Raspberry without any problems.

I'm using windows 11 with Norton AntiVirus Plus and Edge or Chrome Browser

How do I configure Norton to reach the panel correctly?

greetings

This was your Putty screenshot which I forgot to repost: This shows the SSH session to Putty is invalid.

Have you assigned port 8080 at any point during the setup and in the Norton firewall? Have you asked their support for assistance at any point?

No, I only used it to make a few settings on the Raspberry.

I just uninstalled it. No improvements so far..

Is Putty mandatory for this or just something you are using for SSH ? Thinking it may be a part of the issue.

SA

Yes, I followed the instructions and added both MAC and IPv4 addresses as full trust.

Unfortunately there was no improvement.

Thanks for the post-back. So we are in agreement that the following steps were taken?

Hello SoulAsylum,

Thanks for the tip on how to insert images correctly.

I've already tried the setting recommended by Nathan and haven't noticed any change. When I enter the IP of the AIDA64 computer on my laptop (or Raspberry or Android cell phone) I still get the message "ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED"

As Nathan Peters posted instructions for. Please set Norton settings to full trust. Its firewall needs to know if this device is trusted or not trusted. Please let us know your results.

Additionally. Most here on the forums won't open pdf files due to the security risks they can present. Here is how to post a screenshot into your forums posts. https://community.norton.com/en/forums/how-post-image-forums-0

Thanks for the suggested solution. Unfortunately, I have already set my current WLAN to full trust. I also tried adding the Raspberry as a trusted device. What's interesting is that I don't even have access to the panel via 127.0.0.1 in the web browser of the computer running AIDA64.

I also noticed that I get a warning from Putty when I try to establish an SSH connection to my Raspberry. I have attached a screenshot.

Maybe try setting network to Full trust:

Open Device Security
Settings
Firewall settings
Scroll all the way down
Network settings Configure
Set to Full trust
