Allow access to NPM in phone settings

I’m having trouble switching the NPM app permission for access to the on position. On my Android phone, when I Allow Access and it switches it to on a second later, it switches it to off all by itself. I did a Google AI question about this and did what it said to do, and it still switches access to the off position. Now the NPM app on my phone does work like that, however, I’m wondering if maybe that’s the reason why it doesn’t stay unlocked when I set it to never lock. I don’t know if it’s my phone, the app, or what, and why does it work when it’s switched to off for the access anyway, I can’t figure any of that out.

I take it you are referring to the Android Accessibility Service for the NPM app. This thread reported the same thing and my research showed it is a Google decision. Norton password toggles itself off
