I like the Performance alerts which was added to NIS 2011 but I have a suggestion which I think can make this even better.
Currently you have Low, Medium and High settings for performance alerts but this applies to all programs equally.
Would it be possible to have one or more of the following options?
- Actual settings to include explicit values you want to be alerted on. For example in the CPU category it would be something like a percentage of utilitzation on a single program above which you want to have the alert presented.
- A bonus of the above option would be if this can be done on a "per program" basis.
- If the above is not feasible how about being able to at least configure thresholds for a user defined value for each category of CPU, Memory, DIsk and Handles?
Other thoughts from anyone?
