Is there a way to have the NIS 2010 shortcuts install in a place other than "All Users\Start Menu\Programs?" I placed (moved) them into "All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\System Tools." The shortcuts there were invalid after the update (because NIS update from 17.6 to 17.7 put them back right in Programs); why doesn't the update install give you an option of where to place it, like most programs? My suggestion is to give the user an option in "miscellaneous settings" where to put the NIS shortcuts; I don't like to see it at the bottom of the Start Menu/Programs. If every installation I have done in the last three years acted in the same manner, I would have a VERY cluttered Start Menu tree. I have just six folder options after "All Programs" are clicked, and I would like to be able to keep it that way. If you give the user an option in the "miscellaneous settings" section, then your LiveUpdate (version update, not pulse update) can use that (I assume a Registry entry) and update those icons/shortcuts appropriately. Thank you.
