An error has occured with Nortron 360 premier edition 8504,100

Hello there,

 

I have installed Norton 360 premier edition on Windows 7 home premium. I happen to see red flag in the Action center and when i click it, it opens Norton screen sayin click to Fix the issue, when i click the fix now buttton, i get the following error..

 

An error has occured with Nortron 360 premier edition

Error: 8504,100

 

As per the below link, i uninstalled and reinstalled 2 times but still getting red flag with same error mentioned in the subject of this post.

I even rebooted couple of times and uninstall/reinstall... but same error code '8504, 100'. Any help on this issue is much appreciated.

No, i don't have any other security software installed. I have only Norton 360 premier edition installed. what could be the reason for the error code? Please help

Today mornig, i get another error message from Norton 360 Premier Edition as follows...

 

An error has occurred with Norton 360 premier edition

Error: 4042,1

 

what's going on wiht Norton? this is a license product for one year.
