Android Norton 360 "Attention Required" stuck

(I"m typing this from my Windows laptop, not the stuck device).

I have a Samsung tablet (Android 7.0, it's up to date) with Norton 360 installed.  Today, the Norton 360 app shows "Attention Required", but when I tap anywhere in the app (except the menu) nothing happens.  It does allow me to try to sign in, but when I do supply my correct email and password (the same ones I signed in here on my windows laptop), it gives an error page reading:

 Server Error "we're working to resolve an issue that prevents us from completing your request.  Try again later (-400)."  

Sometimes, the little "pull to scan" button will appear, but it doesn't let me pull it, and that goes away after a little bit.  The faint brownish scanning status line has been stuck about 2/3 of the way across since this morning.

Is there anyting I can do to get this unstuck?  Nothing in the app appears to be working.

Thanks!  That fixed it.

Try going into Android Settings - Apps. Scroll to the 360 app and clear the app cache and app Data. Restart the device. This will reset your 360 to a trial version. To get the full version back, open the 360 app, tap on the 3 bars at the top left, then tap Sign In. Enter your Norton Account information and you should have the full version again.

Then test to see if things work properly.
