Version 5.118.2.250717557 on Samsung Galaxy s25. Wi-Fi security say “This network is not password protected” When, in fact, it is password protected. What gives?
Are you using a VPN when you see this message? If not, try turning on the VPN and then see what message you see. Mine shows “Connection secured by VPN”.
Is this your home network that is protected by a strong wifi password? Try forgetting the network in Android Settings. Restart the phone and reconnect to the network and test.
NOTE There is a newer version that might be available to ver 5.119.0. See if you can get that and test.
