Android v13 Possible Virus

Hi guys, got a bit of a problem that I need help with.

Long story short, I clicked on a message on Facebook with my mobile, within about 2 hours I was locked out of my Virginmedia account with the passwords and emergency email address changed. This took over 5 weeks to secure my account, I was using a free anti virus program, I set a new secure password generated by a password manager.

I bought Norton 360 and also a new laptop, virus checking my mobile, Norton reported no virus on the laptop or mobile.

A few days ago I started receiving emails from Virginmedia reporting suspicious activity on my account, email passwords to the mobile had been changed, this has happened 3 times in the last couple of days.

Is it possible to run a stronger anti virus to check my mobile as the normal antivirus is not detecting anything.

Thank you

just my 2 cents

if norton is showing no virus or anything else than as stated by peterweb, its a hacking issue

the link you click or opened ( shouldnt of in first place) was used to get your info on your account and possibly others

i would be getting in contact with there tech and or security dept ( sometimes one in same sometimes seperate depts )

and let them know what happened

This is not an anti virus issue. You clicked on a Facebook link. Where did that link take you? It seems it was something malicious. Did you enter any personal information after clicking that link?

Your Virgin mobile account has been hacked. You need to get Virgin to cancel that account and open a new account. It would be best to use a different email account to register the new Virgin account.
