Announcing Norton Security 7.9.1 update for Mac

[Updated on 25th January] 

We have released Norton for Mac 7.9.1a for Mac 10.7.x to 10.9.x OSX customers.

This build contains a fix for an issue with legacy Safari browser extensions, where the extension (not the product) installation failed.

Note: This patch targets Norton for Mac 7.9.1 version. After the update, the product version will remain the same (7.9.1)

We have released Norton Security 7.9 build 63 update for Mac through LiveUpdate. To download this update, simply run LiveUpdate.

Note: A system reboot is required to apply update

This update is available for the following Norton products:

  • Norton Security for Mac
  • Norton Internet Security for Mac
  • Norton Antivirus for Mac

To verify you have the update, launch the Main User Interface, click on Help, and select About.
