I am using Norton Antivirus version 15.0.0.58 and constantly receiving annoying message (aprox. 10s intervals) “A recent attempt to attack your computer was blocked”. Message disrupts my working space, and I would like to turn off this message show in the future. However, in option section so far I failed to find any appropriate spot to do so. Any help you be appreciated.

Please do read indeed, but I'm also curious to know why you get these. Did you run a full scan allready?
Phil_D , Stu, I think it is related to my local network issues, which souses this. Perhaps somebody miss configured their local networking.
In any case I still like to learn how to deactivate such messages :)
Vineeth, thanks for the link, however my Norton does not have "Intrusion Prevention " tab. See: http://img2.imageshack.us/img2/7122/20009.png Or I missed something?
Use the below link to upgrade to NAV 2009 with the existing subscripiton days.

NAV 2009 have Intrusion Prevention Notification options.
Check this and let me know about it.
While an upgrade would probably be a good idea, I’m also curious as to whether there are any options for changing notifications under either the antivirus options, or options on the left side of your main screen.
Hi
Whenver a browser attack happens, you can see the following pop-up from the system tray.
When you click on View Details, you can see the option to stop the alerts (Stop notifying me)
This option is not available in your current Norton AntiVirus version. This is available only in NAV 2009.
It is recommended to upgrade to NAV2009 for the Intrusion prevention Notification.

I would like to draw the O.P.'s Attention to this Thread: Norton AntiVirus 2009: No Firewall: http://community.norton.com/norton/board/message?board.id=nis_feedback&thread.id=18195.
Thanks all for the suggestions. After installing new core to Norton, necessary tab is in place, as expected.
However there is no firewall as already noted.
In any case, thanks for the help.
