Well I had NIS to begin with and my subscription ran out. I ddin't have the money to upgrade, so i downloaded the free AVG 2012 trial. That's when my computer world came crashing down because i didn't know i was supposed to unistall NIS first. Well, when the avg expired I installed NIS-paid download. I uninstalled NIS 2012 from the control panel -->remove program, etc... Apparently, I still have remains of both programs.
I have been trying to figure this out for a week now. I downloaded the avg remover tool, but i get an error message; it doesn't do anything.
Beyond Frustrated! please help me. I need to be safe online for college classes.
