when you tell norton anti spam that a message is not spam, why doesn’t it remove the [Norton AntiSpam] marker from the email heading? is there a setting for this? there really should be.
Hi hbrofman,
Please provide the following information:
1. Your Operating System and Service pack
2. Email Clients you use- Outlokk, Outllook Express or Windows Mail.
3. Norton program you are using.
I don't know any setting to remove the [Norton AntiSpam] from the subject line of the mail, as this marker will be added once the mails get downloaded to your computer through your email client. Once it is classified as Spam or Junk mail, then this marker is added and you won't be able to remove that even if you mark the mail as "Not Spam".

Thanks for the reply Yogesh. it is vista ultimate 32bit. outlook 2007. norton 360 v 2 (latest updates applied). i think that a feature should be added to remove the marker if you tell norton "Not Spam" from the button in outlook. so, before moving the email over to the inbox from the spam box, it removes the marker. it would be a good feature. otherwise you have to edit it out of the message if you reply or forward which looks kind of crummy to the other party.
thanks

I agree with you -- and not just in N360.
Please post a message on this in Norton 360 Public Beta . It may be too late to do anything in the first release but the more people who ask the better!
