ANti-Spam buttons greyed out and anti-spam folder missing

Hi,

I'm running Norton 360 Ver. 5.1.0.29 on a WIN7 64 bit OS. Outlook 2007 configured for IMAP.

Just reently, the  is spam", "This is not spam" and "Empty SPam folder" became greyed out and I do not see a Norton Spam folder in Outlook

Here's what i"ve tried:

1. Run MS updates, reboot.

2. Check Outlook Add-Ins. Disabled and re-enabled the Norton add-in.

3. Checked Settings in Norton, toggled on/off for Anti-spam

4. Chekced Disabled add-ins for Outlook, Norton add-in is not listed.

5. Disabled Outlooks Junk Mail tool, restarted Outlook. Ths did not help, so I re-nabled the Junk Mail tool in Outlook.

The Norton 360 client is set to auto-update, so I was wondering if maybe the latestupdate is causing problems(?)

Hi Kavitha,

Thnaks for the reply. I checked and "This is Spam" is not enabled in any folder.

Hi FDW,

Norton AntiSpam supports only standard SMTP and POP3, it does not support SSL based and IMAP. If you are not using POP3/SMTP, then you can disable AntiSpam from the settings.

More information on why AntiSpam is not available for IMAP is discussed here:

Sorry for the inconvenience.
