I wanted to give an update so nobody thought I'd forgotten. The team has identified the problem and is working on correcting the issue. I will send another update tomorrow as we find out more.

Hi, I have some good news. A Norton support technician just called me to say they had finished applying a patch to their servers. We tested NAT on my device, and it now seems to be working. I was able to re-register my device, and view it through my account at antitheft.norton.com. It took almost a week, but it looks like the issue is resolved. Stephen
Did you obtain Norton Mobile Security through the Android Market? If so, then this confirms that that group of users has been fixed. There are a few that still need fixing.
Hi. Yes I did obtain Norton Mobile Security through the Android Market.
Actually, your last post got me thinking. I will be buying my wife an Android tablet for Christmas, and will recommend to her that she purchase Norton Tablet Security for it. Does Norton have any recommendation on whether we should obtain NTS from the Android Market, or the Norton Store?
Actually a pretty simple decision for now. Norton Tablet Security is not available in the Android Market currently, so you would need to buy from the online store a retailer.
Noted - thanks.
I tried again to check for NAT and it showed that my NAT for Mobile Android had expired. So I uninstalled NAT on my Droid X and then redownloaded it from the Android market and installed. When I tried to run it it said I needed to register it. When I put in my email address and password to my Norton account, it first says "checking account entitlement", Then I get "Unable to Register" "An error occured on the Norton Anti-Theft server". I can "Retry" or "Cancel" . I retried a couple of times and received the same response.
I'll give it some time and try again later.....
And Yes, mahalo Erik,
Thanks for the update Dirk. Hopefully we'll get everyone else fixed soon.
One more update. I have confirmation from the team that the remaining users impacted by this should be resolved sometime this evening. I recommend checking tomorrow. I apologize for how long this is taking, but the team had to manually fix the issue for each customer impacted by this problem.
It's 4:30pm here in Hawaii and everything is back to normal. I'm showing NAT as again working on my phone.
Give my thanks to the team for thier good work, and to you Erik a big Mahalo for keeping us informed
Dirk
Great to hear. I've just heard that they have completed all users about 20 minutes ago. At this point everyone should be resolved now.
