I keep getting  a "microdefs error . . . live update had an error updating virus definitions"  when i try  live update-- Anti virus 10.0, 2006.

What's the problem?

Run LiveUpdate in Interactive Mode and install updates one by one. You can do this by selecting "Customize this Update session" in LiveUpdate options.
