Anti Virus 2009 and Office 2007

I appologize if this is a duplicate post, tried last night and coluldn't find it.

I have wasted 6 hours of my life talking to Norton Techs and Supervisors.  I hope someone on this forum can help.

We replaced Norton Corporate Edition Antivirus, Vrs 10.0 (which was working good) with new Norton Anti Virus 2009 with Anti Spy Ware

We have -

2 new Lenovo Laptops

Operating System     XP-Pro

Office 2007

Norton Anti Virus 2009

3 Old Dell Laptops

Operating System XP-Pro

Office 2002

Norton Anti Spy Virus 2009

3 Dell Desktops

XP-Pro

Office 2002

Norton Anti Virus 2009

All stations share/access 3 NAS file servers, Internet, etc. via LAN.

Dell systems work fine accessing, modifying and saving office files (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) on NAS Snaps.

The 2 Lenovo laptops cannot save Office Files to Snap - error “file not saved”.  Once they access a file, then no one can access those files -  error “file locked for editing” even when file is closed.  If you try and delete the file, it pops back up as soon as you reopen the folder.

We removed Norton from 1 Lenovo, installed a trial version of MacAfee and it worked great.

Anyone have any ideas?
