Sorry for posting this on the forums but can not find any other form of cantacting Norton directly as it is a programing issue on their end. All that is findable that is listed is questioning asking about purchasing/installing/activating.
Reguarding to at least or more subjects like " Backdoor.Tidserv!inf ".
It seems the engine has been informed if it finds such like issues that it can not do anything and to inform the user. This how ever is not entirely true. The engine can see the item located even in temporary memory. And Guess what, the engine >>CAN<< remove items from that location. So more instructions must be given to the engine and not just basic catch alls.
Informing the user they must manualy remove items even if all that is on their system is in temp memory and clearing the temp files fixs the issue...they will think more is going on and go nuts trying to find what it is they are susposs to remove when in fact they already removed it in like 2mins over an hour ago.
If you haven't gotten the gest of this information yet...the engine is crying wolf tot he users and the semi-smart ones will just ignore the warning windows thinking the entire issue is only in temp memory and is not a real issue at all.
