Ever since updating Norton yesterday I’ve gotten this task on my two computers. I’m running Windows 7 Home Premium with the most recent NIS, and 8.1 with latest NIS patch. I ran the fix tool that supposedly removes the Remediation task, and it worked on both computers. But after restarting the 8.1 computer today I noticed it returned. I then proceeded to delete the task from the scheduler since I don’t need it. I haven’t restarted he 7 machine yet and it hasn’t come up since I ran the fix tool, but can only imagine it will after a restart. Is this a problem with the latest patch/update, and will it get fixed?
