AntiPhishing Expired error - logs needed

Hello, we’re investigating the root cause for an issue that affects the AntiPhishing toolbar in NIS and N360.  What you will see is that your copy of NIS/N360’s subscription will be up to date and running, but when you open Internet Explorer you will see AntiPhishing Expired.  If you are experiencing this issue, we need information from your system in order to investigate this further. Please send me a private message if you are experiencing so that we can collect the information from you.

Things we need:

  • Screenshot of the problem
  • Previously installed product and version on this system (just the last one is fine)

One change to the steps listed: Step 3.6: Check all the advanced options

Before running this tool to enable logging, move the system clock ahead one day. Then after rebooting, run LiveUpdate before disabling logging. In the end, no files will be sent to Symantec. The file to send will be located here:

Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\ErrLogs

Windows Vista:
C:\programdata\Symantec\ErrorLogs
