How to copy the AntiSpam blocked list from one computer to other?
I have 5 licenses (NIS2011) and I like all computer running the same blocked list, for my family safety.
Has someone knows how to do that?
Thank you.

Hi pps07com,
Welcome to Norton Community!
Sorry to inform you that there is no feature available to manually transfer the AntiSpam settings from one computer to another. The Norton 360 Version 4.0 uses new Brightmail Technology for the AntiSpam, which is entirely different from the previous products (training based spam engine). The new engine relies heavily on Symantec Spam definitions, heuristic rules, and online detection to identify spam. So, even if you didn't update the blocked list, Norton AntiSpam will still be able to identify the spam emails with the help of spam definitions updated by Symantec. If you still want the same Blocked list in all computers, you may have to enter it manually.

Hi Yogesh,
The one thought I had to try does not appear to work when I tried it on my test laptop. Since I have a test system which I can afford to mess around with I may play around with this a bit more.
Theoretically it should be able to work since both computers have the same NIS 2011.
Edit: I just realized why it did not work. After I rebooted the computer NIS replaced the Antispam data with the original files which it got from somewhere.

Ok. I will do.
I think its is a very good idea.
Because only me has skill on this area.
All other family members are regulars users.
And here in Brazil, has a lot of bad e-mails.
Thank you.
Yogesh
You are welcome.
Thank you for your post.
I know that. But I wish this feature on Norton Internet Security 2011.
I have 4 more families computers to do the same, and my blocked list has more then 100 entries.
This is a hard work to do to protect all members.

Allen.
This software keep this information at some place.
You can chance the versions and when you replace to new one all datas are replaced correctly.
I don't lost one bit, with update my old versions.
The blocked list, allowed list and Identity Safe are safe and works very well on the new version.
But the only think that I can save and past to the others computers is the Identity Safe.
All this feature is so fantastic.
How do you do that? (NIS replaced the Antispam data with the original files which it got from somewhere.)
Where are these files?
Paulo
Hi Paulo,
Please allow me a couple of days to mess around with this. Please understand there is no built-in support for doing what you are wanting to do and therefore no guarantee it will work properly.
I would suggest again posting this idea in the Norton Ideas Forum.
Best wishes.
Allen
Hello, Allen
I did post this Idea to Norton Ideas Forum, like you said.
I thank you, for your interest.
I know that " there is no built-in support for doing what you are wanting to do and therefore no guarantee it will work properly"
