Antivirus 12 for Mac

I just downloaded Antivirus 12 for Mac using the suggested installer; however, when I click Launch, nothing happens.  When I look in Finder, the only file I see is a file called "Norton%20AntiVirus%20ESD.English" which I cannot open.  Can anyone help?

Also, not sure why I didn't think of this earlier: but simply rename the downloaded file to anyhting you want, as long as it ends with '.dmg'. For example rename the file to 'Norton AntiVirus 12.dmg'. Then double click the file in the Finder.

 

It should not open an Installer window that you can double click.
