Our Norton subscrition recently lapsed and we contracted the virus "Antivirus Live" on our PC's Windows XP. We did some research and followed the steps of going into Networking Safe Mode and downloading a malware program online. We ordered Norton 2011 but things went a little wacky after that. Four Norton Download Manager Icons popped up on our desktop and everytime we click on one the "initialzing" window blinks and doesn't download. We tried it in regular mode as well but the virus makes it impossible. Any ideas? Do we need to uninstall the old Norton? Neither my partner nor I are terribly computer savvy.
