Okay, so I bought a laptop from Best Buy and it came with Norton AntiVirus with Spyware 2011. Three questions:
1) How much time does it service?
I am fairly certain the rep said it was 6 months and the receipt seems to say so as well. Just trying to confirm.
2) How many users/PCs/installs are allowed?
None of this info seems to be printed on my copy. Remember, it was bundled with my new laptop, not a retail copy.
3) Very important! When does activation of the product occur? When does my time start counting down? After I install, which I have not even opened the product yet (I am using Norton IS 2011), or after it was registered at Best Buy several weeks ago? I intend to resell the product on eBay if I am able. I really need to know how much time and how many users it supports.
This information is also helpful for understanding how Norton works as a whole. I find it confusing at times... Thanks to any Norton staff and/or other users that respond! Good day!
