Any progress on M-Files 8 or 9 and NIS 2013 incompatibility?

It's been a few months since the last activity in this thread:

and I would like to know if there has been any progress on resolving the incompatibility between M-Files 8 (and 0) and NIS 2013?  My NIS support expires in a week and I'd like to know if this issue will be resolved any time soon or if I should just switch to another AV vendor.

 

Also, I can't seem to reply to the thread above - am I missing the magic "Reply" button or doing something wrong?
