i am a US citizen.. and had norton internet security loaded on my laptop. i had to go out of the country and got a virus on my laptop. after trying everything. i needed to do a reinstall of windows 10.. when trying to activate norton.. it wont allow me to activate as i am currently in philippines. norton support wanted to sell me a new version while i am in the philipiines when i still had like 5 active slots left on my current norton. its a VALID license. and its My Laptop.. yet their only solution was to sell me another product... i have had them since 1996 and because i have to leave the country for a couple of years.. this is what i am stuck with?? its like i am the only person in the world who travels and this has happened to.. this is nortons solution?? buy another one?? the only way anyone would know abotu this issue is if they travel and are in a bad spot where they have to do a reset and then find this. the guy in support told me. i shoudl return the product where i got it from. get a refund and buy another one. sure i have like 1100 dollars to fly back to the us and then back to the philippines..
