Apoint.exe - High CPU Usage after NIS 2010 Install

Last week I upgraded to NIS 2010. Since then I've noticed that apoint.exe is using 10-25% CPU.

Are any other NIS 2010 users experiencing the same high CPU usage?

apoint.exe is the software for my ALPS Touch Pad Mouse for Dell Inspiron 6000.

Driver level is 5.4.102.4, which is as high as Dell offers.
