Appeal Link Is Unavailable - Manual Review?

Hello,

There was a brief security hole in our Web site, so we hired 6scan and another expert to go through everything and secure it. We have scanned it with everything possible, closed all holes, and also installed a firewall for additional protection.

I am trying to appeal the evaluation of the site, but the link goes to an "Unavailable" page here: https://safeweb.norton.com/rescues/unavailable

Would it be possible to get a manual review of the site? We spent a lot of time cleaning it and securing it to make sure it's safe. The site is

www.pawmygosh.com

I would really appreciate it very much as we are blocked by Facebook (our main source of traffic) because they partner with Norton.

Thank you!

Scott

Hi pawcreator, and welcome. You can resubmit your site to Symantec.

Try this link.   https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/kb20090410134005EN_EndUserProfile_en_us

This link gives some extra information.

Hello, the site is already added in my account and been evaluated. When trying to click the re-evaluate link, it is broken. You can find other examples here:

My site is already verified and everything... I just can't request a re-evaluation because of this broken page.

Is there anything else I can do? I really need to get this to reflect the secure state it is now.

Thank you.

Hi pawcreator,

According to Securi Site Check - http://sitecheck2.sucuri.net/results/www.pawmygosh.com - your website is still blacklisted.

When I first checked it, it gave these "Cached results from more than 2 days ago":

Secure SC.Cached results from more than 2 days ago.ss 1 of 2.JPG

I forced a re-scan, and the results are still the same:

Yes, this is because Norton is the one blacklisting it. That's why I need Norton to review it again because I, along with 6scan.com and other security experts, have ensured it's clean for a couple of days now and all holes fixed. This is from the scan you just did:

"Blacklisted (8 Blacklists Checked): Indicates that a major security company (such as Google, McAfee, Norton, etc) is blocking access to your website for security reasons. Please see our recommendation below to fix this issue and restore your traffic."

You'll notice it even says "such as ... Norton"   - Google is not blacklisting it. Neither is McAfee or others. It's just Norton that has pawmygosh blacklisted at this point.

Are you able to force a manual scan by Norton? The Sucuri alert is a result of Norton....

When you click the "blacklist status" link on that page, you'll see the following attachment. Norton is literally the only one that has it blacklisted...

This will remain in effect until Norton reviews it again. That's why I'm desperately trying to get it re-evaluated, but the request/appeal button in the norton account is not working.

"Are you able to force a manual scan by Norton? The Sucuri alert is a result of Norton.... "

No, I'm sorry, I'm only a volunteer here.

But I can bring your op to the attention of the Safe Web team, and I'll be doing it in a minute.

However, since it's the weekend, please give them a few days' time.

They should let let you know here in your thread, so keep watching and good luck!

Okay, thank you!

You are welcome! :smileyhappy:
