I have Norton 360 installed and my computer has been infected with the Arcade Safari virus. It is a pop-up ad and a also generates new webpage opens from "smokik.com." The virus infected my computer even with Norton's antivirus protection running. I performed a Full System Scan and Norton Power Eraser but neither scan identified Arcade Safari, which remains on my computer. I searched the forums and there is no mention of Arcade Safari. However, when I do a Google search, there are plenty of mentions of the Arcade Safari virus and how to remove it. Instead of installing yet another antivirus/malware removal software, I would like to stick with the Norton, which is the solution that I have already committed to. I ran the new version check and I am using the latest version of Norton 360. My computer is a 2012 Lenovo X1 Carbon running Windows 7 Pro. Can someone please help me remove this virus?
