I bought Norton Ghost 14 a few weeks ago but can not create a custom recovery boot disk. (System re boots after reading the standard recovery disk)I spent about 2 hours with a support person through a chat system who advised me that it was a win xp sp3 problem. In my case this means that Norton ghost is useless as when I boot from the standard recovery disk my hard drives are not available.
However I looked through the first few pages hear and I relies that I am not alone and there are several complaints relating to system re booting whilst attempting to make a custom recovery disk. How do we contact symantec and say there product is not working. I feel if they are aware the may be able to come up with a fix.
We are looking into this issue, I apologize for the delay. Since there is already a thread on this subject, I am closing this thread.
