Symantec: I would like to know what the This is Spam selection limit is, if it exists?
- If I select one email and click This is Spam, NIS does its thing
- If I select two emails and click This is Spam, NIS (normally) does its thing
- If I were to select four emails and click This Is Spam, NIS pops up window that says "Norton is Training", shows 1 of 4, then freezes with (Not Responding) in the window's title bar, and then does the same to Outlook.
Everytime.
Running Win7 64-bit Ultimate SP1 with Outlook 32-bit 2010, and have tried this with disabling all other add-ins, to no avail.
So, the questions are:
- ShouldI be selecting only one email at a time?
- If there is a built-in limit, what is it?
- Is this simply a design flaw or bug in the code (most likely)?
I am accustomed to Sunbelt-Software's iHateSpam, which has none of these inherent limitations. Unfortunately, Sunbelt sold to GFI, and they are trying to continue support until the end of the year. Their suggestion is to use Cloudmark (which I know wrote iHateSpam), but even their latest v1.2 release is a total disaster.
Would appreciate it if you would ask one of the developers, who would know the answer.
