I have an internet connection with my laptop, no problem, and after setting up the printer, was advised that the Wi-Fi connexion was 80%. I have the usual blue symbols indicating Wi-Fi is ok.
Then I attempt to print something. Nothing happens, I have tried getting paper into the correct position, checking plugs, switches you name it. Each time I try too print I am advised that the printer is not responding, and when I go back to re-install a new printer I find the current one is disconnected - by whom?
Delete the public wifi connection as it restricts network access in the home group and other network abilities and reboot. Create a private connection to your wifi and reboot again. Try reconnecting the printer.
Cheers
I knew that the problem had to be simple. It was a case of finding it.
I have two connections for my Wi-Fi. one is home group, the other is public.
I know the first connection was home group, because I felt it would be more secure for me.
I then set-up a second public Wi-Fi connection. I am now being told that the printer cannot be connected over the network because it is not shared with Home group. I created the problem when I installed the EE Wi-Fi. Please how do I get the printer and Wi-Fi into the same 'Set-up?'
Hello Jools. Please tell us a little about your situation. Are you following this guide from Kodak to setup wifi on the printer itself? Have you reset your Norton firewall and rebooted the laptop with the printer powered up?
Please tell us:
