I’m at my wits end and don’t know where else to turn and need help badly. Ever sense accidently fell for a phishing site while looking stuff up for school, my computer has brought me nothing but grief.
The beavers range from my computer shutting down from an abrupt shutdown when ever I’m on the internet and at times I get a blue screen to the time When my entire driver was trashed and now internet Explorer has recently broken and has been found with over 200 vendibilities.
This phishing sight seems to have gained my IP address and I suspect that I got attacked the last time I updated my Norton internet security to the current version.
My firewall went down during installation for about a minute and senses then these problems have only intensified and gotten worse.
My firewall History has logged A virus known as W32.virut.CF removal status: failed. I have tried the removal tool,anti virus scans and anything else I can find. Nothing has worked nor has it detected the virus. The date of infection is October 23,2009.
Please help, all I want is my Computer back and to be from free from this Attacker and virus’s control!
