Attempting to contact anybody from Norton U.S-based support for weeks

I have been trying for weeks to contact anybody from Norton US-based support. I have had an issue with my Norton subscription. Specifically the text filtering feature, which has not been filtering any spam or junk texts. I’ve consistently told Norton support that my callback preference is after 5 PM EST and they have routinely called me outside of that window. Every single time I have missed numerous calls because for some reason my phone keeps blocking or sending the Norton Customer Service number to junk and every single time I call back Norton support they tell me that my case is being escalated and that they cannot connect me to tier 2 support that I always have to wait for a callback within 48 hours and every time they call me back, it is still outside of that window. It has been so incredibly frustrating. I’ve even tried to contact people at corporate at GenDigital and nobody has returned my calls or emails. I am beyond frustrated that I can’t speak to somebody in the United States. I keep getting redirected to India and it is very clear that nobody is reading the case notes that clearly say my preferred contact time is 5 PM Eastern time in the United States, the fact that you can’t pick up the phone and either dial or email somebody in the United States so I can speak to somebody locally is beyond frustrating. I have even attempted to connect with people on LinkedIn from Gendigital to help me. I am begging somebody from Norton to connect me with somebody in the United States to please call me

Same here. My subscription was renewed without notice, and when my automatic renewal was OFF. Now I cannot get a refund. The ‘help’ service just keeps looping with the same options. If I cannot get a response, I will contact my credit card company for a refund for unauthorised payment!

@bjm customer service ended up closing my case with no resolution. They ended up calling me 2-3 more times but Norton itself kept filtering the customer service number as “junk” so I couldn’t even answer the call. Almost a month and I still have not been able to successfully talk to the tier 2 support. I even wrote a letter addressed to GenDigital’s customer relations department and still nobody has contacted me. All I want is to talk to am American representative physically located in the United States; it is the most difficult and frustrating thing in the world. I am absolutely disgusted with the communication barriers that are put into place. The fact that this is a global company has made my customer service experience 10x worse. On top of that not even corporate headquarters has the decency to put someone in contact with me. This is the classic problem of a company who’s gotten too big and cannot solve problems at a smaller scale.

I didn’t know Norton 360 filters spam texts/calls?

I’ve been reminded…Norton 360 for iOS | Android…includes Safe SMS filter.

Caveat: I’ve not seen Norton 360 filter SMS messages.

I’m possibly seeing the same issue with Safe SMS possibly not working. This other thread is dealing with the same issue. Spam text filter doesn’t work - Other Mobile Products/Services - Norton Community

I have not heard anything from that thread yet and have asked for an update from my Norton contacts.

Are you seeing this on iOS or Android?

I tried that - the AI that answered the call didn’t understand what I was asking, and, despite promising to connect me to an agent, disconnected the call! I can’t get the online chat to work either!

Time to look at McAfee???
