I am going to be blatantly honest and tell this forum that I was sincerely a NIS Fanboy until this recent Windows 10 ready upgrade. Albeit I wasn't a fan at all when Nortons started forcing people to store sensitive Identity safe information on cloud, which when I cant avoid I will be ditching NIS altogether.
What is equally disturbing now is the constant popups that keep nagging me to do things I really didnt buy NIS to perform. I want intrusion detection, virus protection, nothing else.
This message
"Attention Your PC requires disk optimization to improve performance"
is just nearly the last straw. Seriously I have better things to do than babysit Nortons constant whining to perform tasks I don't need.
What is this, why is it showing and how do I tell NIS to stop even attempting to perform it? Turning of "Performance Monitoring" does nothing.
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
