I am encountering audio dropouts due to page faults in Nav.exe even with Auto-Protect disabled. I would like to find a method for suspending all Nav.exe activity (including background activity) during recording sessions and restart when the session is concluded. I notice that unlike most services, the Nav.exe service can not be stopped by the Windows Services Manager. Have other audio application users encountered this problem?
